How It Works
The Writing Assessor is a seamless addition to your Listenwise experience. Simply assign one of the pre-written writing prompts, edit them, or create your own within a Listenwise assignment.
Students will see the assignment right in their dashboard, ready to be completed.
Once students have submitted their work, you can use the Writing Assessor button to instantly analyze their writing. The tool provides a snapshot of their skills, highlighting strengths and opportunities for improvement based on rubric criteria.
The tool provides an ELP level demonstrated by the student’s writing, as well as drafting personalized feedback to share, allowing you to add your own professional judgment and make any adjustments before sharing it with students.
